The Superbowl has come and gone. We lost against Preble Shawnee 26 - 0. Such a shame. The kids played hard, but Preble Shawnee was better. I think the coaches were totally stunned that we we lost, let alone were shut out. The kids seemed to take it well, no tears from Matthew. He didn't get a pass, although one was thrown intended for him. It wasn't within his grasp. Fortunately, Justin Heck was feeling better. He had been not feeling well the week prior and had actually been to ER and had some tests done. We were sweating that Matthew might have to step up and be the quarterback for the "Big Game". Fortunately, all wen well and Justin was able to play. He had certainly earned it. We went to The Brown's house afterward for a little get together which was nice. Now it is on to basketball. Whew... it never stops.
