The kids are currently in Michigan with Marcia. This has become an annual trip, right after the end of school. The kids love it and look forward to it. Me, I know that they are having a wonderful time, but I don't like them being gone for almost a week. It always leaves me unsettled.
We talked to them last night and the highlight of the trip so far was from Matthew. He put out the fire by peeing on it. He totally thinks that is the coolest thing ever. Apparently it was all his own idea. He and Emma were outside with the fire and Marcia and Ricky were inside. Marcia said Matthew came in and was all grins and was totally proud of himself for putting out the fire by peeing on it. (Apparently Emma walked away when he did it).
Ah, the joys of MI in the summer.
