Last night, while driving home from a basketball, Emma let out a belly giggle that just made us grin. From the time she was little, she has had the best giggle, deep, full of fun... a wonderful sound to the ears. A sound that just makes you smile and giggle a little yourself.
But as Rick pointed out, we don't get to hear it that often anymore. It isn't that she's an unhappy child, it is just that she is 9, and I guess at 9, you don't find things that amuse you as easily and fully as when you are younger. I long to have that belly giggle back.
