So Sweet

Sunday night Emma disappeared into her room, which is a little unusual for her, especially for long periods of time. At one point, she came downstairs to ask me how to spell "appreciate". Of course, I asked why as I wrote the word out. She told me she was making cards for her teacher, Miss Coleman and the school librarian, Ms. Young (she has Emma in literature circle). She was thanking them for teaching her. I was very surprised by this and very pleased. What a sweet little gesture.
